About Me

My name is Retno Lestari Ningsih. But I rarely use my last name because it is too long and too hard to spell. Therefore, I use my first and middle name for work reasons. Retno Lestari is easier to remember. However, you can call me Retno or Eno or Ens. The last two nicknames was given by my bestfriend.

I hold a bachelor degree from Universitas Indonesia, majoring in Mass Communication and diploma degree also from Universitas Indonesia majoring in Broadcasting.

I used to work as a sport journalist for TV7. I once help to build Sport7 with only 2 producers, since it was born in September 5, 2005. I am so happy that this program still running until now at Trans7. 

I then moved to the competitor, ANTV, to work for Lensa Olahraga. At ANTV I was able to realize one of my dream. 

In 2012, another dream came true. I am so lucky as I was chosen to received fellowship from PPIA and VOA. There I was, working for a year in Washington DC. My main program at VOA was Dunia Kita, aired on Metro TV. Therefore, I'm calling myself a dreamer.

Now, I am back to Indonesia, wishing to apply all the knowledge I have from all the years of working.
